I am starting up a mobile auto detailing business and have been getting by with just a basic 1800psi electric pressure washer. I’ve now started doing boats and rv’s as well as sometimes doing wooden porches, decks, driveways and single story houses. I need more power definitely but am not sure what to get right now. Some people say 3000psi is needed to be able to wash a 2 story house using those long extension wands but if you are using a tall ladder then that doesnt really matter. But some say to clean a house only about 400-600psi is really needed. I definitely need more power but also need something that can indeed provide the power I need to clean the 2 story houses while also allowing me to safely tone down the pressure enough so I can use it to wash cars and recreational vehicles which will be its primary use. Right now Im looking at the units from Sams Club which are: a Black max 2400psi with a honda engine for only 0, a Black Max 2700psi for 0 or a Simpson 3100psi with Honda engine for 0. Which one would be the best fit for my needs? Thanks!

The second time I tried to use the Generac 5993 it just shuts itself off while I am up on the ladder and while I use it, so of course I have to constantly climb up and down to try and keep it working. I read all the instructions, directions, etc. I also made the HUGE mistake of not knowing what if any return policy Pressure Washers Direct had before I bought from them. The policy is once you have used it NO RETURNS!!! I am amazed that most companies do not know anything about their product or service. The lessen I learned from buying my Generac on line and also from buying a BMW is that you should only buy local and from a dealer or store you trust!!!!!!!!! The BMW dealers are too far away and too few also. If you buy non local: When you have problems or questions you have screwed yourself, because the Co. will not help at all or you spend far too much time and money traveling back and forth again and again. The Generac does not clean the siding on my 2 story home. I am about 10-15 feet away on a ladder so maybe I need to get closer somehow or buy a extension of some sort. I have used different soaps and detergents both pressure washer specific and others to no avail. Generac and Pressure Washers Direct said it was made here in the U.S. but I plainly see on....

I need to purchase a hot water pressure washer for commercial use. I am looking at several options, but I am not sure what to look for: engine, brand, PSI, HP and etc.. I am looking at an interesting offer on ebay for a china made engine pressure washer for 85 shipped. It looks nice, but I am not sure if that China engine will be reliable. On the other hand if I look for Honda engine HWPW I will probably have to sacrifice the 4500 PSI with less and will eventually pay more than 00.. Here is the ebay deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/Powerland-4500-PSI-Gas-Power-Hot-Water-Pressure-Washer_W0QQitemZ290335600732QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item439959b05c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 What do you guys think and suggest?
